A little about us

We are an group of PADI dive professionals based in Juan Dolio on the South coast of the Dominican Republic.

Juan Dolio is in the middle of a huge transition from 'All inclusive hotel' resort area to a more up-market residential/tourist area which is being styled on Miami's South Beach and has been tagged as 'The South Beach of the Caribbean'. These changes have had a huge impact on how dive operators conduct their businesses, due mainly to the closure of about 70% of the all inclusive hotels which were the bases of operations such as ours. However, several of the local dive centers, including ours, have now pooled their resources and the result has made it possible for us to offer our divers what we believe is a much better quality of service.  For example, we now use private pools instead of busy hotel pools for our confined water classes.  We also now have access to more boats, covering a larger area.  Commissions no longer have to be paid to the hotels which you will find is reflected in our prices.

We now work in alliance with several dive and tour operators covering most of the south (Caribbean) coast to take advantage of all that this area of the Caribbean has to offer. Our location . At  H2O Diving you will receive the best in individual or small group personalized PADI diving tuition with the highest standards of safety and professionalism. We also arrange and guide dive tours to some of the top diving locations in the Dominican Republic.

All of our courses are presented in a manner which we ourselves would like to have our own courses presented. We do not use group teaching methods that would require you to have, for example, your classroom presentations made by one instructor, the confined water sessions (pool) by another and so on. Every part of your course with H2O Diving will be carried out by the same instructor. This allows us to better evaluate your pace of learning and ability and gives you a much better presented course.

All of our instructors, associate instructors and assistants are PADI certified which means that you can rest assured that you will have your course presented using the most up to date methods and technologies by instructors that have received the most comprehensive training in the recreational diving industry.

All of our courses can be presented in English, Spanish or German  and by special arrangement through our associate instructors, French and Italian.

Our aim is to provide the highest standard of scuba diver training focused on safety, fun and on the student divers needs and abilities. We conduct all of our courses to suit your busy holiday schedule.
